College Degree and Course Development
The SESG Team has been instrumental in developing college curriculum that provides a seamless pathway to an Associates, Bachelors, and Masters Degree in Homeland Security for accredited colleges and universities.
Education in Homeland Security has to be developed by those who know the needs of the ever changing profession to assure that graduates can enter into the job market with an education and meaningful skills that can be immediately utilized within the profession. Courses are developed to not only meet industry needs, but are tailored to fit the particular demographics and needs of the college or university and the students that are served. There are several features of the SESG Homeland Security course of study leading to a 2 year, 4 year or 6 year degree, that are not only unique, but also respond to both the public and private employment needs. SESG can assist you in the development of one or all of these features that will set you apart:
- A seamless course of study leading to an Associates, Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Homeland Security.
- Development of courses that are responsive to the contemporary industry needs, not caned courses of study that have been used for years.
- Collaboration with the senior leadership of the industry agencies that would provide support, identify student populations among law enforcement, fire, first responders and military, as well as assist in an advisory capacity.
- Develop internships with both public and private sector employers.
- Establish student exchanges with overseas colleges that have proven Homeland Security programs.
- Develop distance learning courses in Homeland Security.
